Duranta Repens 'Gold Mine' - 10L

This versatile shrub grows in the full sun and semi-shade. It is ideal as a hedge or as a filler plant in garden beds. Its leaves are bright green with an equally eye catching yellow margin. 

Duranta enjoys a well drained, compost enriched soil. It loves a good layer of mulch especially in the hot summer months. This helps to conserve water. Duranta has average water requirements and once established is water wise. 

Duranta repens ‘Gold Mine’ can reach a maximum height of 2 m. Prune lightly in summer to retain the shape you want and after pruning feed it with 3:1:5 or an organic fertiliser to encourage lush leaf growth. Although evergreen, remember Duranta can be tender to frost conditions. It is a good coastal garden specimen as it copes with windy salt conditions.
