Copy of Lagerstroemia Indica Dwarf - Pride of India 10L (Light Pink)

This spectacular little tree is native to the Indian subcontinent and China, Japan and Korea. It is a deciduous tree which is very often multi-stemmed and generally forms a wide, spreading, flat topped crown, but is variable in growth habit and can sometimes be rounded, or shrub-like with an irregular and open habit. This shrub grows between 60cm to 1m tall and wide. 

From mid to late summer large panicles of white, pink, mauve, purple or carmine red flowers with crimped petals, smother the branches for many weeks. In autumn the dark green leaves turn yellow, orange and red before dropping. Seed heads follow the flowers and persist throughout the winter.
