Aloe Bainsii 'Tree Aloe' 20L

Aloe bainsii, also known as the Tree Aloe, is a striking succulent tree native to South Africa. It belongs to the Aloe genus and is characterized by its tall, branching stems crowned with rosettes of narrow, pointed leaves. 

• Size: Aloe bainsii can grow up to 9 meters tall, making it one of the largest aloes.
• Stems: The main stem is typically stout and upright, branching into multiple smaller stems.
• Leaves: The leaves are long, narrow, and slightly recurved, with sharp, spiny margins. They are arranged in rosettes at the ends of the stems and are typically a bluish-green color.
• Flowers: Mature plants produce clusters of tubular, orange to red flowers atop tall, branched inflorescences, usually during the winter months.
• Light: Aloe bainsii thrives in full sun to partial shade. Place it in a location where it receives at least six hours of direct sunlight per day.
• Watering: Like most succulents, Aloe bainsii is drought tolerant and prefers infrequent but deep watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, then water thoroughly, ensuring excess water drains away.

• Temperature: This species prefers warm temperatures and is not frost tolerant. Protect it from temperatures below 10°C, as prolonged exposure to cold can damage the plant.
